Visiting Us

Finding the showground is simple:

From the East:

As you enter Carmarthen follow the signs for the A40 St Clears. You’ll find the Showground about 1 mile west of Carmarthen – take the second exit from the dual carriageway and follow the signs.

From the North:

Travel on the A40 into Carmarthen and follow signs to St Clears as above.

From the West:

Take the A40 from St Clears towards Carmarthen and follow Showground signs on dual carriageway just before you reach Carmarthen.

There is parking for more than 1000 cars within just a short walk to the Exhibition hall and the show field.

The site is accessed directly from the A40 dual carriageway by slip roads and a flyover making site entry and exit from the both fast, safe and capable of handling a large number of cars without hold-ups.

The very wide quarter mile long entrance road allows three cars to queue side-by-side.  This means that at peak periods, if the pay booths cannot transact as fast as the cars arrive, there is no danger of the queues backing up onto the public highway.

Internet: You can stay connected with site-wide 4G coverage, giving you suitably equipped phones speeds similar to your home broadband. Wifi may also be available, dependent on the event organiser.

Cash Machines: There are no cash machines on site, but two are located in the Tesco Extra, less than a mile away. Some events may provide their own portable cash machines.

First Aid: First aid facilities are provided on site at all events. See event details for specific information.

We welcome dogs, but ask that they are kept on a lead at all times.

Please be aware that, for some events, there may restricted areas that dogs (except guide dogs) are not permitted to enter.

Please do not leave dogs in your vehicle – you may be liable for prosecution

Two toilet blocks are conveniently located around The Showground, ideally situated for outdoor events of any size.

Additional toilets are available in the main event hall, with disabled and baby-changing facilities.

Every care is taken to ensure that facilities are kept clean, fresh and tidy at all times.

The flat site is ideal for disabled visitors.

There is step-free access into all of the buildings and the site is wheelchair-friendly.
